UHY Ross Brooke was one of 27 local businesses who stepped up last week, donating essential items to help those in need.
The Newbury Soup Kitchen received their first delivery on Friday, with more to follow this week.
Meryl and her team work hard all year round to provide a hot meal for those who are homeless. For those sleeping rough, the festive season brings little change to their circumstances. While many of us are surrounded by warmth and family, they remain on the streets, cold, estranged, and struggling with the same battles they face the rest of the year.
Newbury Soup Kitchen is always looking for volunteers to help at sessions and in the background with operational tasks, if you are interested in becoming a volunteer then please contact Louise, louise@newburysoupkitchen.org.uk
Meryl CEO of the Soup Kitchen shared more information with us:
“Once again, thank you so much for your invaluable support. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need.
To offer you a more comprehensive view of the bespoke care we provide and our unwavering determination to help those in our community who have nothing, we have attached some films for your perusal.
