Caroline Webster has helped charities with their accounts, audit and governance for over 25 years. Her pragmatic approach takes into account the regulatory environment within which charitable organisations must operate, and the current pressures on funding and resources.
Her detailed knowledge of the accounting requirements for charities includes the Charities SORP and fund accounting. Caroline has considerable experience at Board and Trustee level, regularly attending trustee meetings in her capacity as audit partner, establishing good relations to assist with their statutory and governance requirements. In her voluntary capacity she has been the Treasurer of SSNAP, the charity supporting the special care unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, and is presently an adviser to the trustees of Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre.
Merton College Oxford, Murray Edwards College Cambridge and The Oxford Preservation Trust have been some of Caroline’s clients. She has also carried out grant audits of several of Oxfam’s UK and International projects over the years.

Kerry Hawkins has worked with UHY Ross Brooke for over 18 years and provides tailor made services to meet varied client needs. Her wide experience and sympathetic approach to the culture and aims of the sector ensure there is clear guidance through the charity regulations, offering advice on practical ways to ensure compliance.
She has helped various sporting, community, healthcare and cultural charities, and not-for-profit organisations. In Kerry’s voluntary capacity she is currently an adviser to the trustees of St Michael’s Parent School Association.
