Colleagues from all four offices take to the skies for a vital cause
It was a leap of faith in every sense, as 20 intrepid fundraisers including team members from UHY Ross Brooke and Real Aquifer Martial Arts threw themselves out of a plane from 15,000 feet in support of Dementia UK.
The skydive took place at Go Skydive in Old Sarum, Salisbury, on a gloriously sunny Friday. Organised by Cara Smith from our Swindon office, the challenge brought together colleagues, friends and family to raise funds for a cause close to many hearts.
The team effort included volunteers from all four UHY Ross Brooke offices; Newbury, Hungerford, Swindon and Abingdon, demonstrating a firm-wide commitment to community spirit and charitable giving.
So far, the daring dive has raised over £5,500 for Dementia UK, the national charity providing specialist dementia nurses to support families across the UK. Donations are still open at: justgiving.com/page/uhy-skydive-2025
“This was an incredible experience for all of us,” said organiser Cara Smith. “To raise money for such an important cause while sharing this adventure as a team was truly unforgettable.”
