Phil has over 20 years of experience in individual and business taxation, with a career commenced in London until joining UHY Ross Brooke in 2015, where he has gone on to become the firm’s principal Director specialising in Tax. 

His LL.B honours degree in Law, read at the University of Birmingham, gives Phil a solid grounding in reviewing tax legislation and case law and combined with his practical experience enables him to handle a plethora of client challenges.

Phil is keen to help clients prosper by looking after their personal and business tax affairs and oversees self-assessment, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, trusts and estates, corporate taxes and group tax planning, business structuring and restructuring, business start-up and seed funding (SEIS/EIS), business exit planning and strategy, employee reward schemes, stamp duty land tax and everything in between.

Phil is also a volunteer for the Newbury Rotary Club and is treasurer of his local Village Hall.
