David comes from a scientific background (with a PhD in Immunology) but then switched into taxation, specifically as an Inspector of Taxes for 7 years, specialising in venture capital schemes and R&D claims. In 1995 he switched into private practice and thereafter has worked on a host of taxation and international assignments for HNWI and corporates, for some of the larger accountancy firms.

David joined Ross Brooke in early 2020 and provides taxation advice especially in the areas of corporate reconstructions and demergers; design and implementation of statutory and other share awards; cross border tax planning for individuals and their businesses across the whole business cycle from incorporation to exit. When Ross Brooke joined the UHY family in 2021 David became the international liaison across the Thames Valley and M4 corridor for UHY’s world of business advisers.
