Expect long delays with VAT registrations

We have seen anecdotal evidence that basic VAT Registrations are currently taking around 8 weeks to be processed, with more complex/group/land related registrations taking many months. We have received notifications from HMRC that the expected date for some of these more complex cases may be as late as February 2023,
