Breaking News: MTD for ITSA delayed 12 months
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax applying to the self-employed and landlords with gross incomes over £10,000 was originally set to apply from April 2023.
However, HMRC has this week announced that MTD for ITSA will now be delayed until April 2024.
A welcome stay of execution?
For some, yes, but for those who have been planning the move to MTD anyway, it should not deter them from continuing with their Digital journey, and reaping the benefits of online accounting with more timely and accurate data.
